Dentures are devices used to fill the gaps caused by missing teeth. Teeth can be missing for numerous reasons, decay, gum disease, accidents and trauma from sporting injuries. Dentures are used to restore the function of your jaw and appearance.

At Mooloolaba Dental (formerly Fenton Dental) and Swell Dental by Mooloolaba Dental we will examine your remaining teeth and discuss your treatment options.

If dentures are the treatment of choice, we will custom fabricate them for you over a series of appointments. Depending on the number of missing teeth we will make either a partial denture if you have some of your natural teeth remaining and healthy or a full denture to replace a full set of missing teeth. Dentures, both full and partial, are removable and therefore easy to clean.

Full lower dentures that can sometimes be difficult to adjust to, can now be retained with implants. This form of treatment has become very popular.
